Receivables Specialist - Italian

To support our Receivables function in Southern Region we are looking for talented specialists offering valuable work experience . If you are interested in working in a colourful, diverse and multicultural environment either full or part time, we would be more than happy to welcome you in our Receivables department, which includes the following fields:

Billing, Customer Accounting and Invoice Audit

  • Support our subsidiaries across at our Business Service Centre (BSC) in Budapest, Hungary to ensure due payments are billed and invoices are prepared in a timely manner for our clients
    • Assimilating, totalizing, pre-auditing, correcting the accounts, and collating the accounts with vouchers
    • Preparing reports
    • Handling queries from the scoped customer
    • Keeping contact with other departments and teams

Credit & Collections

  • The core responsibility is to make sure our customers pay for their rentals in a timely manner
    • Managing client accounts receivables portfolio and credit lines through proactive collection of debts and reminding customers of their due payments mainly over the phone
    • Sending balance information, statements and invoice copies
    • Investigating disputed invoices when customers disagree with charges
    • Keeping customer database and accounts up-to-date, registering and following up cases (i.e. payment terms).
    • Managing relationship with customers, partners and car rental stations
    • Cooperating with departments in the BSC and in the countries

Cash Application

  • The team identifies and allocates the incoming rental payments received through bank transfers against the correct outstanding invoices. They also handle partner queries and contact partners in relation to payment information asking for remittance advice. Team is also responsible for investigating and processing write offs, refund requests and correcting false bookings; creating journals for non-rental payments.
    • Identifying incoming payments from clients and applying these to rentals 
    • Creating journals for non-rental payments
    • Processing credit card payments and refunds
    • Investigating and correcting the false bookings
    • Preparing reports

  • speak fluent English and also Italian on an advanced level (written, spoken)
  • have ideally 1 year of experience in collection, account receivables role, but talented and capable fresh graduates are also welcome
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • owe outstanding customer orientation and problem-solving skills
  • strong analytical skills, logical and proactive thinking
  • collaborative approach while being able to make own decisions and take ownership
  • ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to take initiative and adapt to changes
  • experience in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel with confidence
